Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy
Effective date: 12 August 2026
Quantum Power Asia is committed to conducting business fairly, honestly and openly. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption, and we choose to work with partners who share that standard. We act professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships wherever we operate, and we maintain effective systems to counter bribery and corruption. We uphold all applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws in every jurisdiction in which we operate, and we align our practices with international best practice.
Scope of this Policy
This policy applies to everyone who works for Quantum Power Asia or acts on its behalf in any capacity. This includes employees at all levels, directors, officers, agency and seconded workers, interns, agents, contractors, consultants, third-party representatives and business partners. It applies in every country and territory where we do business. Where local laws or standards are stricter than this policy, we comply with those stricter requirements. Where this policy sets a higher standard than local law, we apply this policy.
Bribery and Corruption
Bribery is offering, promising, giving or accepting any financial or other advantage to induce or reward the improper performance of a function or activity. An advantage includes money, gifts, loans, fees, hospitality, services, discounts, the award of a contract or anything else of value. Corruption is the abuse of entrusted power or position for private gain. We prohibit all forms of bribery, corruption and fraudulent practice, including coercive, collusive, corrupt, fraudulent and obstructive practices. If you are ever unsure whether something crosses the line, ask before you act.
Facilitation Payments and Kickbacks
We do not make or accept facilitation payments or kickbacks of any kind. Facilitation payments are small unofficial payments made to secure or speed up a routine action to which we are already entitled. Kickbacks are payments made in return for a business favour or advantage. We do not permit anyone acting on our behalf to make or accept either.
Gifts and Hospitality
We allow reasonable and proportionate gifts and hospitality for legitimate business purposes such as building relationships and marketing. Any gift or hospitality must be given openly and in the company’s name, comply with local law, exclude cash or cash equivalents, and remain modest in value and appropriate to the occasion. It must never be intended to influence a business decision or to secure preferential treatment, and it must never be offered to or accepted from a government official without prior approval. Gifts or hospitality above our internal threshold are recorded in our gift register. When in doubt, seek approval first.
Political and Charitable Contributions
We do not make political donations of any kind, whether in cash, in kind or otherwise, because such donations may be perceived as an attempt to gain an improper business advantage. We support legitimate charitable giving, and we disclose the charitable contributions we make. We ensure charitable donations are lawful and ethical, and are never used to facilitate or conceal bribery.
Accurate Records
We keep accurate and complete records of our dealings with third parties. All accounts, invoices and records are prepared honestly, and we do not keep off-book accounts for any purpose. Gifts, hospitality and relevant expenses are recorded in line with our internal procedures.
Raising Concerns and Protection
We encourage anyone who works with us, and any third party, to raise concerns about suspected bribery, corruption or fraud at the earliest opportunity. Reports may be made in confidence, and we treat them seriously. We support anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith, even where it later proves mistaken, and we do not tolerate retaliation of any kind against them. Concerns can be raised by contacting Quantum Power Asia through legal@quantumpower.com.sg.
Responsibility, Training and Review
Our management team is committed to this policy and is responsible for ensuring it meets our legal and ethical obligations. Preventing, detecting and reporting bribery and corruption is the responsibility of everyone who works for us. We provide anti-bribery and anti-corruption training as part of induction and on an ongoing basis, and we communicate our zero-tolerance approach to our suppliers, contractors and business partners. We review this statement regularly and update it as needed.
