Energy Security
Add reliable clean energy supply and strengthen long-term system resilience.

Responsible Development
Quantum structures clean energy projects to support energy security, industrial competitiveness, capital formation, local capability and durable economic activity. Domestic value creation is integrated into development decisions and assessed alongside technical, commercial and delivery requirements.
Enabling Infrastructure
Large-scale island projects depend on supporting infrastructure such as port capacity able to handle container barges, roads capable of carrying heavy freight, bridges connecting land parcels, and accommodation and support facilities for a construction workforce. Much of that infrastructure has a life well beyond the project.
Where agreed with relevant authorities, upgraded ports, roads, bridges and selected support facilities may also serve local logistics, mobility and services. Quantum plans enabling infrastructure with that longer horizon in view and coordinates with local and regional authorities on public access, specification and maintenance after construction ends.
Value Throughout the Lifecycle
Domestic Value Framework
Value develops across different timescales, from construction-stage activity to benefits that accumulate through operations and beyond.
Add reliable clean energy supply and strengthen long-term system resilience.
Support access to cleaner energy for industrial and economic activity.
Mobilise development and investment activity around viable infrastructure.
Create pathways for skills, employment and qualified supplier participation that persist after the project.
Support construction, operations and associated business activity across the project lifecycle.
Develop domestic manufacturing in clean energy and related industries, so more equipment is produced, assembled and serviced locally.
Domestic Value Creation in Practice
Quantum Solar Gorontalo at Isimu reached commercial operation on 24 January 2020. The 14.7 MWp project was developed under a 20-year power purchase agreement with PT PLN (Persero) and, at the time, supplied more than half of Gorontalo city's peak electricity demand. Quantum fully divested the project to Berkeley Energy. The plant remains operational under new ownership.
Location: Isimu, Gorontalo, Indonesia.
Capacity: 14.7 MWp.
Commercial operation: 24 January 2020.
20-year power purchase agreement with PT PLN (Persero). Developed and fully divested; the plant continues to contribute to regional electricity supply.
