Quantum Power Asia Pte Ltd and its related entities, collectively referred to as “Quantum”, “we”, “us” or “our”, respect personal data and are committed to handling it in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and other applicable data protection laws. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, protect, retain and transfer personal data in connection with the Website, business enquiries, stakeholder engagement, recruitment, events, professional relationships and other interactions with Quantum.

How We Collect Personal Data

We may collect personal data directly from you through the Website, email, telephone, meetings, events, forms, applications and other communications; from your employer, colleagues, representatives, referees, business partners or professional advisers; from public sources, professional platforms, corporate registers, government sources, media and industry databases; through cookies, analytics tools, server logs and similar technologies; and from service providers supporting our technology, security, recruitment, communications, diligence and business operations.

Purposes for Collection, Use and Disclosure

  • Responding to enquiries, requests and communications.
  • Managing government, community, investor, lender, adviser, supplier and stakeholder relationships.
  • Evaluating projects, partnerships, investments, transactions, services, employment and other opportunities.
  • Conducting due diligence, conflict checks, counterparty assessment, fraud prevention, sanctions screening and legal or regulatory compliance.
  • Administering meetings, visits, events, subscriptions and communications.
  • Operating, maintaining, securing, analysing and improving the Website and our systems.

Consent and Other Permitted Bases

Marketing and Professional Communications

We may send corporate updates, event invitations, publications or other professional communications where you have consented, where an existing business relationship makes the communication appropriate, or where otherwise permitted by law. You may opt out by using the unsubscribe method provided or contacting us. We will manage telephone, text and fax marketing in accordance with applicable Do Not Call requirements.

Disclosure and Overseas Transfers

We may disclose personal data, where reasonably necessary, to Quantum’s related entities, authorised representatives, professional advisers, auditors, insurers, lenders, investors, transaction counterparties, technology and recruitment providers, government agencies, regulators, courts, law-enforcement authorities, purchasers, investors, financiers, partners or successors, and other persons with your consent or at your direction.

Quantum operates and develops projects across Southeast Asia and may transfer personal data outside Singapore. We will take appropriate steps to ensure transferred personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA.

Protection, Retention and Access

We maintain reasonable administrative, physical and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data. No internet transmission or storage system provides absolute security. We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected or an applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, audit or evidentiary requirement.

You may request access to personal data in our possession or control and information about how it was used or disclosed during the preceding 12 months. You may also request correction of an error or omission. Requests are subject to applicable exceptions and procedural requirements.

Withdrawal of Consent and Data Breaches

You may withdraw consent by giving reasonable notice to our Data Protection Officer. We maintain processes for assessing and responding to personal data breaches and will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and affected individuals where a breach is notifiable under the PDPA.

Cookies, Children and Third-Party Websites

Details of cookies and analytics are set out in the Cookie Notice. Third-party websites linked from the Website operate under their own privacy practices. The Website is directed to business and professional audiences and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal data from individuals under 18 through the Website.
